Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware (HVCCD)

Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware. 

Our Club was established in 1969 and is founded on the love of antique cars of all makes, models and types.

Membership is open to all who share the love of old cars, trucks and motorcycles. Ownership of an antique vehicle is not necessary.

Meetings, Shows and Events 

The HVCCD has a monthly meeting of members which is held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the activities room at the Milford Bowling Lanes located at 809 N. DuPont Highway, Milford, DE, with a social hour beginning right after the meeting adjourns.

HVCCD Officers and Directors meet monthly at area restaurants as announced at the monthly members meeting. All members are invited to attend the Board meetings.

We sponsor a car show annually: The 1st State Meet is held on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend at the Ross Mansion in Seaford, DE. The Club also participates in the Concord United Methodist Church annual car and tractor show held in April. In 2012 we had our first car show in conjunction with Saint Jude The Apostle Church in Lewes, DE, and we’re looking forward to making this an annual event.

Our Cruise Nights are scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of April/May & October 5-8pm and June/ July/ August/ September 5-9pm at Air Park Plaza, Route 113 (on the southbound lane), Milford, DE – Thank You to Our Sponsor Burgers-n-Beans for providing our new venue. Enjoy the "Best Burgers in Town"!

For members, we have an Annual Banquet in January of each year, an Annual Picnic held during the summer, and in March a Spring Social.   

Support to Our Community 

Annually, HVCCD sponsors academic scholarships for graduates of Sussex Technical and Poly Technical High Schools continuing their education in an automobile-related field.

The  HVCCD Membership approves other contributions to worthy local charities as funds are available.
